AntiMicro, Xpadder, and Joy2Key are all about emulating keyboard and mouse actions with a gamepad. They don't emulate an Xinput controller from a dualshock or anything like that. If you're using Better DS3 you might not need AntiMicro since it also has keyboard/mouse emulation built in, but AntiMicro offers a LOT more in-depth control over how each function works. You can set macros, fine-tune the sensitivity of analog sticks, etc.

It's a pretty awesome tool--I've used it to play some old games with a Dualshock 4 and it's been awesome.

Hello people of As the title suggests I have a problem getting my xbox controller and/or xpadder to work properly with DFO. So here is what happens: • Xpadder recognizes my controller and my computer recognizes the buttons I assign to the controller (when I press the controller button assigned to 'A' I can type 'A' in textfields). • When I use the default controller mapping (no hotkeys assigned in xpad) I can move around in DFO using either the left stick or the dpad. • When I use my own controller mapping (the hotkeys assigned the way I want them to be) the game suddenly doesn't recognize my controller at all. The corresponding buttons on the keyboard work (e.g. Numpad 8 for 'Move Up' works), but the assigned controller button does not work. • I can use the hotkey menu ingame to directly assign xbox buttons to ingame commands (indicated by something like Joy_button_whatever).

However that's not what I want, since I want to use the xpadder switch set command to gain more hotkeys. There was another thread with an in-depths tutorial on how to use xpadder, where people posted fixes and workarounds, but none of them worked. So far I tried the following: • Run xpadder as admin. • Run xpadder with windows vista sp2 compability. • Run DFO in fullscreen, windowed fullscreen and any other resolution. • Multiple restarts of DFO, xpadder and my computer.
