I know that GOG has it updated to Windows 10. I actually found a forum once that was hosting the files that you just copy and paste. The files were ripped from the actual GOG download. I own the DVD Gold version so I didn't want to buy it again.

Those files were a big help. Oh, you can't actually do anything with the zip file other than add it to your installation, it doesn't contain anything but the game exe file for the Main game and the Expansion. They are completely useless without having the game already installed on your system. I think I forced mine to install in compatability mode 'Windows XP'. Running it was giving me a video memory error so I searched that issue and found those files.

You just need to replace the application with a new one. You will keep all your settings & savegames. Mine used to work perfectly fine but now everytime I try to launch it from steam all I get is the 'unable to initialize graphics engine' message- i've tried all different compatibility modes and resolutions, creating shortcuts but nothing has worked so far. On the Nvidia control panel i've selected 'use global settings high performance nvidia processor' (although i've tried the other two options and they didn't work either).
